It is a peaceful, scenic, community-oriented area with an abundance of amenities to suit every taste. JOB SUMMARY: Proficient in multiple imaging modalities. Able to move between facilities and perform imaging duties on various types of equipment. Has knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care, including contrast injections. Must possess strong customer service skills and a versatile knowledge of all imaging equipment. Properly uses radiation protection devices, selects technical factors necessary to produce optimum quality images; processes those images and performs a variety of other duties.

Requirements

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited radiologic technologist program.
  • A.R.R.T. registered in Radiology, state licensed in radiology by LSRT.
  • Registered in at least two (2) post imaging modalities including the following: CT, MRI, Mammography, Ultrasound.
  • Current BLS certification through any International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) provided courses such as but not limited to: Ochsner Health System, American Heart Association, and American Red Cross.
  • The ILCOR course must include a manikin check off.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with patients of all types and ages.
  • Must possess strong guest relations skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Seven (7) years’ experience preferred.
