Piedmont Henry Hospital's Imaging Department offers a state-of-the-art environment with excellent equipment, staff, flexible scheduling, and a great work atmosphere. The department utilizes its own transporters and patient lift equipment for imaging exams. Shifts include 8, 10, and 12 hours, with weekend option pay. The department comprises various technologists (X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, Interventional Radiology, OR X-ray), Unit Secretaries, Transporters, RNs, PAs, and Radiologists. Piedmont Henry is a 259-bed hospital, a level III trauma center, a level III neonatal intensive care unit, and is stroke certified. Its Emergency Room handles approximately 100,000 patients annually. The Imaging department includes 3 routine X-ray rooms and 2 fluoro rooms (86,000 exams/year), 4 Siemens CT rooms (72,000 exams/year), 2 MRI units (1.5T Siemens & 3T GE) (10,000 exams/year), 3 Siemens Ultrasound rooms (21,000 exams/year), a Breast Health Center with 4 Hologic Diag/Screening Rooms & 1 DEXA (23,000 exams/year), 1 GE IR Room (2,500 exams/year), an Outpatient Diagnostic Center (CT, MRI, Mammography & X-ray) (11,000 exams/year), 5 GE OEC C-Arms for Surgery (OR), and a CSU Pre and Post unit for patients receiving moderate sedation.
