About The Position

The Rad/CT Tech is responsible for helping ensure quality healthcare in the CT and Diagnostic Radiology Departments of Imaging Services and assisting with other duties. The employee promotes service excellence and ensures the delivery of quality radiographs of all parts of the body for interpretation by the Radiologist. The role is on call.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology.
• Current ARRT registration or obtain registration within 12 months of hire.
• Current AHA/ARC BLS certification.
• Ability to use a variety of standard radiographic equipment and supplies.
• Functional in using digital fluoroscopy, portable units, and C-arm equipment.

Responsibilities

• Help ensure the delivery of quality healthcare in the CT and Diagnostic Radiology Departments of Imaging Services.
• Assist in the performance of other duties.
• Promote service excellence.
• Ensure the delivery of quality radiographs of all parts of the body for interpretation by the Radiologist.
• Learn all routine radiology exams.
