About The Position

Under the direction of the department manager or designee, the CT/RAD Tech III performs interpretive, patient care, and technical functions to ensure proper radiologic diagnosis. The role includes technical duties involving the CT scanner, as well as developing, initiating, training on, and monitoring procedures for effective use of the CT scanner and other portable and stationary X-ray units in the radiology department. The technologist performs required special procedures using specialized equipment and routine diagnostic procedures to provide quality radiographic images.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Radiology Technology or completion of an equivalent approved A.M.A. program.
• Experience caring for patients across all age groups, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• CRT License and Fluoroscopy Permit.
• Valid California State Certification License in unlimited diagnostic radiology services.
• ARRT License required.
• Current BLS.
• MAB certificate.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of three years of radiologic experience and special procedures experience is preferred.
• A minimum of one year of experience performing CT or previous acute hospital experience is preferred.
• CT Certification preferred.
