About The Position

The Racquets Department Program Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all racquets programming to enhance member engagement and satisfaction. This role focuses on delivering high-quality tennis, pickleball, and racquet-based experiences through organized clinics, leagues, tournaments, and social events while supporting the daily operations of Racquet’s facilities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, member-focused, and passionate about racquet sports, with a strong ability to create dynamic programming for all ages and skill levels.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of racquets programming.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Flexible schedule.
  • A high school diploma is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications preferred (USPTA, PTR, PPR).
  • Prefer knowledge of operations in a club environment.
  • CPR, First Aid, and AED certification is preferred, but can be obtained within 30 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, schedule, and execute a comprehensive racquets programming calendar including clinics, leagues, mixers, tournaments, and social events.
  • Create innovative and engaging programs for all demographics.
  • Collaborate with other departments to create cross-functional events.
  • Evaluate program participation and adjust offerings accordingly.
  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment.
  • Engage with members to build relationships and increase participation.
  • Respond to member inquiries professionally.
  • Promote programs through club communication channels.
  • Manage court scheduling and program logistics.
  • Oversee registration, attendance tracking, and billing coordination.
  • Maintain accurate records and generate reports.
  • Ensure budget expectations are met.
  • Support supervision of racquets staff.
  • Assist with staff scheduling.
  • Help train staff on program execution and service standards.
  • Lead by example in professionalism.
  • Ensure courts and facilities meet standards.
  • Coordinate maintenance.
  • Manage inventory of equipment and supplies.
