About The Position

The Racquet Club Attendant provides friendly, attentive service in a premium pickleball and padel environment. Responsible for keeping courts clean, organized, and guest-ready, this role supports reservations and equipment rentals while ensuring a welcoming and professional experience for all players.

Requirements

  • Professional demeanor and happy attitude
  • Basic understanding of pickleball or willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt activities to suit various age groups and interests
  • Basic computer knowledge (Micros or other POS systems)
  • Outstanding and professional guest services skills
  • Organized and the ability to facilitate multiple people and skill sets at the same time
  • Knowledge of supplies
  • Excellent eye for detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Experience setting up, operating and breaking down events
  • Ability to communicate in the English language
  • Ability to work independently in a safe and organized manner
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends and able to perform multiple tasks
  • Experience using computers and software programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to be outdoors for long periods of time
  • Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions including heat, sun, wind, and rain
  • Must be physically fit to lift, pull, and push items up to 50 pounds
  • Also requires standing/walking/reaching and bending throughout shift

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a recreational, hospitality or sports family environment is a plus
  • A creative and enthusiastic approach to engaging guests
  • Second language is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Greet all members and guests in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Ensure all courts are clean, safe, and properly set up with nets and equipment
  • Monitor court activity, ensuring rules and time limits are respectfully followed
  • Manage court reservations, walk-ins, and cancellations efficiently
  • Assist with guest check-in, memberships, and payment processing as needed
  • Provide accurate information on club rules, pickleball and padel basics, and upcoming events or lessons
  • Promptly report any equipment malfunctions or facility concerns to management
  • Support light maintenance tasks and assist with event setup or breakdown as required
