About The Position

This role is in the Rack Fabrication department and involves producing high-quality welds by following blueprints and technical drawings. The Rack Fabricator will maintain productivity, work independently and as part of a team, and assist other personnel as needed. The position requires a strong commitment to safety, including wearing proper PPE and maintaining a clean workstation. The employee will also be responsible for informing the supervisor of any equipment or other issues, complying with safety policies, and accepting feedback to ensure quality standards are met. Special projects and other duties may also be assigned.

Requirements

HS Diploma/GED
Must also pass a skills-based test
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work efficiently and effectively; self-motivated; self-starter
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Must be conscientious, diplomatic, and detail oriented
Must pass a company background check and drug screen

Work in a safe manner always wearing all required Proper Protective Equipment (PPE)
Maintain a clean, clutter-free workstation
Able to participate in a collaborative environment
Comply with safety policies and procedures
Accepts feedback from the Team Leader to ensure the bundles meet safety standards
Complete special projects and other duties as assigned
