About The Position

The Digital Content Editor at SSENSE is a multifunctional storyteller who sits at the intersection of our social media and editorial teams. Driven by fashion industry news, pop culture, and data-backed insights, you will create, curate, and schedule best-in-class content across our owned and operated digital channels. Acting as a vital link between internal and external creators, you will ensure our content authentically communicates the SSENSE brand POV while actively engaging and growing our global audience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in a social media marketing or digital content role.
  • Full professional bilingualism in French and English (written and verbal) with minimal reliance on translation tools. Bilingualism is required for this position, as content is published in both French and English.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, OS X, and Google Workspace experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is a strong asset.
  • Proven ability to independently manage content projects from initiation to execution while maintaining realistic schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Ideate, concept, and produce innovative content for SSENSE social media channels aligned with the overarching digital content strategy.
  • Own the end-to-end publishing schedule across social channels with an uncompromising attention to detail, accuracy, and platform life cycles.
  • Partner with graphic designers, visual editors, and internal departments (e.g., Brand Partnerships, Buying, PR) to manage content intake and deliver cohesive stories.
  • Collaborate with the Manager of Digital Content to analyze performance metrics and prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly data reports to inform future pitches.
  • Support active community management, join online conversations to drive brand loyalty, and curate User-Generated Content (UGC) to boost engagement.
