About The Position

In the role of Research and Development Technologist II working in Milwaukee, Wisconsin you will be part of the Brewing Innovation and Quality Team. You will support new product development and the technical exploration of new products, processes and/or ingredients. This position reports to the Manager Pilot Brewery and works closely with Research and Development and Technical Brewing Teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Brewing or related field and/or equivalent experience
  • 2 years experience in brewing/beverage, quality, or packaging operations.
  • Understanding of quality control throughout brewing, liquid processing, and packaging.
  • Ability to understand, troubleshoot and correct process, control or maintenance issues.
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities

Responsibilities

  • Safely operating and cleaning pilot brewing equipment to execute trials, paving the way for exciting new beverage and process innovations.
  • Support process review, expanding pilot capabilities with improvements in equipment, process, and automation.
  • Ensure each production is executed with meticulous attention to detail, delivering world-class results to our stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the MCBC R&D and technical brewing team(s) supporting business objectives and venturing into uncharted territories of beverage processing.
  • Be an integral part of a diverse team of brewing professionals, collectively driving the success of the department, division, and the entire company.
