About The Position

This position works independently to assist R&D engineers, scientists, and/or teams in developing and analyzing products, materials, processes, or equipment. The role is onsite five days per week and has shift hours of 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Relocation assistance and employment visa sponsorship are not available for this position.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience with a high school diploma and/or equivalent experience, training, or apprenticeships.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts and construct prototypes or products from concepts.
• Use basic mechanical drawing or CAD software to document prototypes and fixtures.
• Explore and propose creative solutions based on sound rationales, contributing to design and process concepts.
• Organize, coordinate, and execute the building and testing of prototypes or products according to engineering instructions.
• Assist project teams in establishing specifications and quality standards.
• Use internal resources and qualified external vendors to help engineering teams identify and obtain supplies and services.
• Act as a resource to other employees.
• Communicate project status to project teams.
