R&D, Senior Scientist
About The Position
As a Senior Scientist, you will drive the generation and communication of scientific evidence supporting Castle Biosciences' dermatologic oncology products. You'll collaborate across R&D, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Program Management, and Data Analytics to transform complex clinical and molecular data into meaningful insights that inform patient care and business strategy. In this highly visible role, you will analyze and visualize data, develop publications and scientific presentations, communicate findings to diverse audiences, and build collaborative relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to advance research initiatives. Success requires a unique blend of scientific expertise, analytical rigor, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment.
Requirements
- PhD in life sciences or a master's degree with at least 5 years of industry experience
- Demonstrated interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as verbal and written communication skills (with proficiency in the English language)
- Demonstrated independent writing experience in generating scientific deliverables (abstracts, posters, short oral presentations, etc.), with first-hand experience in the publication process
- Demonstrated experience with clinical data analysis and statistics
- Demonstrated ability to manage timelines and function effectively in a fast-paced environment
- All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
