The R&D Regional Head - Biologicals role in Greensboro, NC, will lead the biologicals team within Crop Protection Field Development. This position combines scientific expertise with program management, overseeing biological trials and coordinating with multiple stakeholders to drive innovation in sustainable agriculture through the development of plant and soil health solutions.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Agricultural Science, Microbiology, or related field.
• Extensive experience in biological product development.
• Strong understanding of agricultural field trials.
• Proven track record in research program management.
• Experience leading technical teams.
• Scientific rigor and attention to detail.
• Project management expertise.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead early-stage biologicals portfolio research.
• Develop and execute strategic field evaluation programs.
• Coordinate trials across in-house teams, CROs, and universities.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for biological product testing.
• Manage ARM/BITS data systems and meet global KPIs.
• Guide the biologicals research team.
• Oversee facilities and budget management.
• Drive professional development of team members.
• Create an innovative and collaborative environment.
• Partner with Product Biology and Marketing teams.
• Support BioSquad (Biologicals sales and technical team).
• Build relationships with universities and key influencers.
• Align research activities with commercial strategies.
• Design research protocols for biological targets.
• Determine use rates and formulations.
• Assess phytotoxicity and sustainability fit.
• Deliver high-quality trial results and recommendations.
