About The Position

Rundoo is seeking an R&D Recruiter to own University Recruiting and employer brand from end to end, with the opportunity to grow into full-cycle technical hiring. This role is ideal for someone with campus recruiting experience who is eager to take on more responsibility. The position involves running the intern program, managing the intern-to-full-time pipeline, representing Rundoo at events like Hack the North, and eventually taking on full-cycle hiring for Engineering, Data Science, and Product roles. The R&D Recruiter will collaborate closely with the Head of Talent and R&D leaders, with significant autonomy to shape the role.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in university or campus recruiting, managing intern programs, campus events, hackathons, or early-career pipelines.
  • Excitement to grow into full-cycle technical recruiting across Engineering, DS, and Product.
  • Ability to provide memorable candidate experiences, particularly for students and early-career individuals.
  • Organizational skills to develop repeatable and successful recruiting programs.
  • A proactive approach to ownership and problem-solving with minimal established process.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for campus recruiting events.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience partnering with engineering leaders or calibrating on technical talent.
  • Experience in employer branding, content creation, or social media management.
  • Existing connections at universities such as Waterloo.
  • Experience using Ashby or a similar Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Responsibilities

  • Own university recruiting end to end, including the intern program and intern-to-full-time pipeline.
  • Manage and grow existing relationships with universities, starting with the University of Waterloo and establishing new ones.
  • Organize, attend, and maximize participation in campus recruiting events such as Hack the North.
  • Build Rundoo's brand on campus to attract top student talent.
  • Transition into full-cycle R&D hiring for Engineering, Data Science, and Product roles.
  • Act as a partner to R&D leaders, ensuring sharp intake, quick feedback, and a consistent hiring bar.
  • Build genuine communities of talent on campus and beyond, anticipating future hiring needs.
