Our Shockwave Medical portfolio aims to establish a new standard of care for medical device treatment of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease through its differentiated and proprietary local delivery of sonic pressure waves for the treatment of calcified plaque. The R&D Project Management Coordinator is responsible for providing project coordination and technical writing support to Operations, R&D and Product Transfer Project teams. This position is an individual contributor role assigned to work on projects independently and in a team environment. This person will collaborate across the organization to fulfil project needs and to distill technical information into clear, accessible documents for internal and external use.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
  • Highly detail oriented and organized
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Visio
  • Working knowledge of Solid Works is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to read, analyze test data and report anomalies
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with flexibility to adapt to changing requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist project managers in planning, documenting and executing project deliverables.
  • Provide general support with administrative tasks, schedules, budgets, and procurement processes
  • Work with project team members including R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, Operations and Marketing to ensure projects and activities are executed according to standard processes.
  • Assist in the creation and revision of engineering deliverables.
  • Draft, edit and format engineering drawings, reports, procedures, and spreadsheets for grammar, clarity, consistency, and readability.
  • Maintains records and files of work and revisions.
  • Create document change orders and expedite approval process through the quality management system.
  • May assist in training others to work instructions.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Other duties as needed.
