About The Position

Stefanini Group is hiring an R&D Product Developer in East Hanover, NJ. This role involves planning, leading, and coordinating technical projects in alignment with R&D, regulatory, marketing, and manufacturing requirements. The developer will communicate project status and risks, and lead pilot plant and factory trials adhering to good manufacturing practices and HACCP requirements. Responsibilities also include leading development activities such as product shelf-life testing, designing for quality, and preparing for consumer tests. The candidate will co-lead projects with the Hiring Manager, interacting with senior leaders and suppliers. Experience with ingredient troubleshooting and pilot plant/trials is highly valued.

Requirements

Minimum: BS in Food Science with 3-5 years of experience.
Anti-Slip / Steel toed shoes are a requirement for this position.
Must be comfortable working with several different groups of stakeholders, senior leadership, and suppliers.

Nice To Haves

Experienced in Food Industry Manufacturing environment (Preferred in Biscuit Snacking), with knowledge in ingredient functionality & commercialization.
Experience with ingredient troubleshooting and pilot plant or trialing is a huge plus.
