About The Position

Shinkei Systems is pioneering technology to deliver the highest-quality seafood at scale. We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineer to sit at the intersection of fish biology research, engineering, and real-world operations. You will be pivotal in developing a system to quantify the quality of fish. You will own the design and integration of electromechanical systems, from initial concept through build, test, and deployment in commercial processing plants.

Requirements

• BS/MS ME or related.
• Physical prototyping background.
• CAD, machining, fabrication etc.
• Robotics, sensors, embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Electro-mechanical design, sensor integration, data processing, hands-on testing and validation
• Blank sheet mechanism design.
• Work in a cross functional team of controls, mechanical design, software architecture and machine learning engineers.
• Auto-loading into NERA-CV / integrating in the plant.
• Design for automation in manufacturing.
