About The Position

OneEthos is a purpose-driven fintech startup founded by community bankers to provide digital solutions to technologically underserved community financial institutions. The remote-first company focuses on ethical solar financing, sustainability, and impact banking. The remote Research & Development Intern will learn about early-stage software development and support research, development, testing, and implementation of OneEthos products. The internship offers exposure to fintech, sustainability, solar lending, and technology partnerships with purpose-driven financial institutions, as well as to Climate First Bank, a OneEthos client and subsidiary under its holding company. The intern will be assigned to one of two projects: collaborating with a Senior Engineer on a Green Bank product launch and an EcoStatement tool, or working with the AI team on a database for mission-driven small businesses. The intern will also work with other interns on a project to automate parts of the software development lifecycle. This is a part-time, remote internship for 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional travel or evening and weekend work as needed.
