Requirements

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
  • 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a R&D Engineer-related occupation.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop medical instrument and accessories to provide clinically relevant solutions to improve patient care, and improve the user experience.
  • Design and develop instruments and accessories that will be utilized on benchtop and ex-vivo tissue laboratory testing.
  • Research, plan, design, verify, validate and develop mechanical and/or electromechanical products, such as metals, plastics, instruments for medical application.
  • Utilize CAD software to create solid models, assembly models and drawings, and collaborate with internal and external partners to produce prototype and production parts.
  • Provide hands-on troubleshooting, process and manufacturing assistance in support of a rapid development cycle and work through all phases of product development from conceptualization to mass production.
  • Participate in case observations at Hospitals and interact with surgeons.
  • Participate in in-house clinical procedures and activities related to procedural development.
