About The Position

We are immediately hiring an R&D Formulation Intern in Provo, UT for our Supply Chain Solutions division. This internship is for the term beginning May 2026 through August-2026. The Ryder Internship program will allow students to apply their knowledge into current Ryder projects. Interns will develop a corporate business sense by learning how each department contributes to the overall organization as well as crucial problem-solving and public speaking skills while attending business meetings and participating in projects.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required
Currently enrolled toward a degree
Strong PC skills (Windows, MS Office, MS Project, MS Excel) intermediate required

Responsibilities

Supporting the R&D Manager and Associate Scientist in preparing benchtop samples to customers including but not limited to, protein powders, vitamin/mineral blends, botanical powders and functional food powders
Gathering documentation on raw materials
Support in researching new raw materials and their benefits
Understanding GMP
Laboratory clean up and organization
Use of basic analytical equipment (tap density machine, FlowDex and weight scales)
Performs other duties as assigned.
