About The Position

Design, develop, test, or debug EDA software products, solutions, and related technologies in digital design, custom design, silicon realization, systems design, verification, emulation, or silicon engineering. The role enhances the performance and capacity of the IC Validator tool by analyzing performance issues using log files, performance graphing tools, and code inspection. It optimizes problematic C/C++ algorithms through binning, optimized graph traversal, and memory management; uses threading and distributed processing to improve scalability across multiple hosts; and ensures efficient data storage through compression, appropriate disk use, and efficient data representation. The position includes performance testing, coordinating code drops, analyzing results, and refining code based on test outcomes. It also uses machine-learning methodologies to optimize graphs and schedule tasks for distributed jobs, and contributes to research into new AI applications. The engineer applies learned techniques, contributes to problem analysis and investigation, and builds productive internal and external working relationships to resolve shared problems through collaboration on procedures or transactions. The role is 40 hours per week.
