The North America team is seeking an R&D Engineer for our Lansing, MI manufacturing facility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in product development, R&D, or a hands-on engineering environment.
  • Proven ability to manage projects from start to finish, including planning, execution, and follow-through.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive accountability and meet deadlines, including influencing cross-functional partners and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in testing, analysis, and problem-solving.
  • Working knowledge of CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks)

Nice To Haves

  • exposure to FEA/CFD is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and improvement of products, taking ownership from concept through testing and production implementation.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product Management, Manufacturing, and Sales to deliver practical, customer-driven solutions.
  • Plan and execute product testing, translating results into clear recommendations and design improvements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve product and process issues, supporting both manufacturing and field performance.
  • Drive progress across projects by coordinating timelines, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring key milestones are met.
