About The Position

This co-op program offers a 6-month immersion into Conagra Brands and their Research & Development (R&D) Packaging organization. The co-op will support packaging teams with technical project tasks focused on the development and commercialization of new, improved, and cost-reduced packaging. The role involves supporting technology objectives and achieving individual goals within a dynamic work environment.

Requirements

• Current student with a graduation date of May or December 2027
• Packaging Engineering, Materials Engineering, Materials Science, Engineering, or related major preferred
• Low level of complexity in tasks, expected to be a quick learner
• Openness to coaching / mentoring
• Ability to seek out information as needed
• Travel Requirements: May travel up to 30% of time. Must be able to travel independently and as a responsible representative of Conagra.

Responsibilities

• Support packaging teams with technical project tasks.
• Contribute to the development and commercialization of new, improved, and cost-reduced packaging.
• Support the delivery of technology objectives.
• Meet individual goals.
• Execute experiments.
• Participate in plant trials.
• Prepare results for review.
• Apply knowledge of technical field to work.
• Maintain awareness of technical developments in the field.
• Prepare and present results, both written and oral, to supervisor.
• Contribute to the preparation of technical reports.
• Develop and issue technical specifications.
• Perform technical project related tasks.
• May manage small projects independently.
• Complete project tasks on budget.
• May travel up to 30% of time.
• Must be able to travel independently and as a responsible representative of Conagra.
