About The Position

This co-op program is a 6-month immersion into Conagra Brands and their Research & Development (R&D) Packaging organization. The co-op will support packaging teams with technical project tasks that contribute to the development and commercialization of new, improved, and cost-reduced packaging. The role supports the delivery of technology objectives and meeting individual goals.

Requirements

Current student with a graduation date of May or December 2027
Packaging Engineering, Materials Engineering, Materials Science, Engineering, or related major preferred
Low level of complexity in tasks, expected to be a quick learner
Openness to coaching / mentoring
Ability to seek out information as needed
Must be able to travel independently and as a responsible representative of Conagra

Responsibilities

Support packaging teams with technical project tasks.
Contribute to the development and commercialization of new, improved, and cost-reduced packaging.
Support the delivery of technology objectives.

Execute experiments.
Participate in plant trials and prepare results for review.
Apply knowledge of technical field to work.
Maintain awareness of technical developments in the field.
Prepare and present results, both written and oral, to supervisor.
Contribute to the preparation of technical reports.
Develop and issue technical specifications.
Perform technical project related tasks.
May manage small projects independently.
Complete project tasks on budget.
Pay appropriate attention to cost considerations.
