Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, or schematics
  • 1+ year of manufacturing experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, written, organizational and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, analytical thinking, accuracy, time management, and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
  • Advanced skillset in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Adobe pdf editing
  • Must be authorized to access export-controlled information in compliance with U.S. ITAR regulations; therefore, applicants must be U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or otherwise eligible under ITAR requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Review Requests for Quotes (RFQ’s), prepare work to be estimated by gathering proposals, prints, 3D models, specifications, and related documentation.
  • Prepare New or Update existing cost estimates by analyzing material, labor, outside processes, and time requirements.
  • Request and Review supplier pricing and documentation
  • Produce timely, accurate, and complete estimates for manufacturing projects
  • Support evaluation and improvement of manufacturing methods and cost efficiency
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Quoting Manager.
  • Use ERP system to check current material inventory and pricing. As well as check historical pricing of existing parts.
  • Create and send customer quote letters with all pricing details, tooling cost, engineering costs, and exceptions.
