Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in customer service, inside sales, and/or sales operations.
  • Demonstrated personal leadership (leading by example, positive attitude, problem-solving, mentoring of others, initiative).
  • Strong experience with ERP systems required.
  • Experience using CRM systems for sales tracking and reporting.
  • Effective listening, communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, customer-driven, change-focused environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across two manufacturing sites.
  • Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making ability.
  • Team player who works productively and demonstrates leadership potential.
  • Ability to perform business math and read financial reporting.
  • Computer experience – Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate and timely quotes for two manufacturing sites.
  • Enter all quote information into the ERP system.
  • Collaborate with Plant Managers to gather pricing, lead times, and production details.
  • Route completed quotes for the Sales team for follow‑up and further customer communication.
  • Schedule meetings as needed for quote review or discussion with sales, operations, and management.
  • Maintain organized records of quotes and related documentation.
  • Monitor and manage the shared sales inbox outside of CRM workflows.
  • Follow up on aging quotes and coordinate with Sales on next steps.
  • Log all new sales calls and inquiries into the CRM system.
  • Maintain and update customer contact lists to ensure accuracy.
  • Support the Sales team with coordination and administrative assistance as needed.
  • Handle all incoming calls for the company.
  • Professionally route calls to appropriate departments or individuals.
  • Serve as a positive and knowledgeable first point of contact for customers, vendors, and partners.
  • Assist the Marketing Department with coordination, data management, and execution support as needed.
  • Support the Operations Manager with reporting, scheduling, and administrative coordination.
  • Help facilitate communication between sales, marketing, and operations teams.
  • Track key sales, quoting, and operational KPIs.
  • Generate basic reports related to sales activity or production data (reporting only).
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy across ERP, CRM, and internal sales records.
  • Identify opportunities for improved efficiency within quoting and sales support processes.
