Requirements

  • 10+ years of in a quoting environment related to manufacturing, preferably metal machining
  • 10+ years experience in maintaining BOM’s/routers in an ERP system for a manufacturing company
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Salesforce experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the sales team and project managers to create quotes for new business
  • Research current or new technology to estimate manufacturing rates, material consumption and overhead rates.
  • Provide support for customer inquiries, providing timely and professional support.
  • Project manage NPI (New Product Introduction) to assure projects are performed accurately and timely.
  • Follow company procedures and file quotes as required
  • Attend company and customer update meetings as they pertain to new projects
  • Maintain a well-organized physical and digital filing system to ensure documentation is accessible, compliant, and up to date.
  • Create, update, and archive files according to company standards and retention requirements.
