About The Position

We are looking for a QuickBooks Online (QBO) expert to join our team as a customer-facing specialist. This role focuses on ensuring our customers understand and effectively utilize the QBO integration that is core to our product, Novi. You will be the go-to expert for customers, turning complexity into confidence and providing support and education. The ideal candidate has an accounting or bookkeeping background, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about educating others. This position is not for bookkeeping or accounting advice for customers.

Requirements

Deep QuickBooks Online expertise; the person others come to with complex questions.
Accounting/bookkeeping background in or adjacent to the association space (e.g., CFO, accounting manager, controller, or self-taught finance lead at a small association).
Comfortable and excited being highly customer-facing, including live calls, screenshares, and real-time troubleshooting.
Genuine enjoyment of solving puzzles, finding root causes, and teaching others.
Willingness to dive into technical issues and curiosities without necessarily needing developer/designer skills.
A bachelor's degree.
Must be a legal resident in the United States and authorized to work within the United States.

Nice To Haves

Desktop QuickBooks experience is welcome.
QBO certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Act as a subject matter expert on QuickBooks Online and Novi’s integration with QuickBooks, both internally and externally.
Address customer support questions related to QuickBooks Online and integrated payment processors via Intercom.
Join live calls with customers to troubleshoot issues, explain root causes, and educate on future avoidance.
Host educational deep dives on the QuickBooks/Novi integration, covering topics like sales receipts vs. invoices and accounts vs. items.
Lead ongoing training for internal teams and customers on best practices for QuickBooks setup and recent feature updates.
Develop and update help articles, feature announcements, release notes, and training videos explaining the integration and best practices.
Support payment and operations related to Novi Pay, including troubleshooting transactions, explaining payment processing concepts, and assisting with the flow of payment activity between Novi and QuickBooks Online.
