About The Position
Volkswagen of Mandeville is seeking a qualified EXPERIENCED Lube Tech. Imagine a shop where your productivity is valued, desired, and rewarded, our technicians have the potential to flag as much as they themselves can work on in a week and your production will not go unrewarded, there is an atmosphere in the shop where we help each other and learn from one another. While we are continuing to make changes in shop appearance and shop equipment, we are looking for Experienced Quick Lube Technician that is comfortable turning wrenches and looking to work for a family-owned business where you’re more than a number, you are family! This position is for someone who has previous experience in Quick Lube, if you DO NOT have previous experience in Quick Lube your application will be ignored. We provide ALL necessary Manufacturer Training at no cost to you as you continue your career path from quick lube to Master Tech if you desire.
Requirements
- Communication skills – communicates effectively with others.
- Time management – managing one’s own time and the time of others.
- Basic computer skills.
- Clean driving record
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen.
- Previous Experience as a Quick Lube Tech
Responsibilities
- Check and communicate oil level to teammates.
- Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation.
- Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary.
- Complete vehicle inspection
- Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter.
- Clean and lubricate fittings as needed.
- Providing excellent customer service keeping in mind that our customer’s perspective comes first.
