About The Position
Lighthouse is looking for an experienced Quick Service Technician to assist their Fleet department with Quick Service work and occasional Internal/Fleet repair. The ideal candidate will have a servant heart, a strong work ethic, outstanding communication skills, and a high attention to detail.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Automotive Repair: 1-3 years preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and insurance estimates.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Responsibilities
- Servicing guest vehicles and ensuring quality workmanship.
- Checking and communicating oil level to other Teammates.
- Ensuring tire pressure for proper inflation.
- Inspecting and refilling fluid levels as necessary.
- Completing vehicle inspection.
- Installing a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter.
- Cleaning and lubricating fittings as needed.
- Ensuring that the service center is clean and presentable.
- Performing Maintenance and repair Items on the dealerships Fleet and Internal vehicles.
- Greeting all guests in a professional, pleasant manner.
- Other miscellaneous duties.
