About The Position
Lighthouse is looking for an experienced Quick Service Technician, ready to help our Fleet department with both Quick Service work and occasional Internal/Fleet repair. We are looking for someone who exudes a servant heart, has a good work ethic with outstanding communication skills, and a high attention to detail.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Automotive Repair: 1-3 years preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and insurance estimates.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Responsibilities
- Check and communicate oil level to other Teammates
- Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation
- Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
- Complete vehicle inspection
- Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter
- Clean and lubricate fittings as needed
- Ensure that the service center is clean and presentable
- Perform Maintenance and repair Items on the dealerships Fleet and Internal vehicles
- Greet all guests, in a professional, pleasant manner
- Other miscellaneous duties
