About The Position

The Quick Reaction Force (QRF) Lead is a flexible operational support role designed to provide hands-on assistance at Dragonfly Health locations and network partner sites. This role is crucial during periods of acquisition, integration, site transitions, leadership gaps, staffing shortages, or increased operational demand. The QRF Lead will support daily site operations, including route support, equipment delivery and pickup, warehouse workflow, inventory handling, equipment movement, and repair coordination. They will act as a driver, lead technician, repair technician, site support specialist, trainer, or temporary operational leader as needed. A key responsibility is assisting newly acquired or transitioning locations with aligning to Dragonfly Health's processes, service expectations, operational workflows, safety standards, and documentation requirements. The role involves identifying operational gaps, service risks, workflow breakdowns, staffing constraints, equipment issues, and process inconsistencies that could impact site performance or customer experience. The QRF Lead will partner with field leadership and site teams to stabilize operations, improve execution, reinforce standard work, and maintain service continuity. They will also provide coaching, training, and day-to-day support to local site employees on various operational aspects and communicate site status, barriers, and recommendations to leadership. A strong focus on safety, compliance, service quality, customer experience, and operational reliability is essential.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Must meet company driving requirements.
  • Prior experience in DME, home medical equipment, healthcare service operations, logistics, field operations, warehouse operations, route delivery, repair operations, site leadership, or related operational support required.
  • Strong working knowledge of field operations, route support, equipment handling, warehouse workflow, service execution, and site-level operational processes.
  • Ability to operate effectively in changing, ambiguous, or high-need environments with limited supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify operational gaps, service risks, and practical corrective actions.
  • Ability to build credibility with local site teams, field leaders, and cross-functional partners.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to provide clear updates, escalate concerns, and explain operational expectations professionally.
  • Ability to train, coach, and support employees across different levels of field operations.
  • Strong judgment, adaptability, follow-through, and ability to balance urgency with safety and service quality.
  • Regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and manual dexterity are required.
  • Must be able to lift, move, load, unload, and transport equipment as required by operational needs.
  • Must be able to operate company vehicles and perform route, warehouse, repair, or field support activities as needed.
  • Regular eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity are required to operate equipment, tools, technology, and vehicles safely.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional technical, logistics, DME, healthcare operations, or leadership training preferred.
  • Experience functioning as a lead technician, driver, repair technician, site manager, operations lead, field supervisor, or similar role preferred.
  • Experience supporting multiple locations, site transitions, acquisitions, integrations, operational turnarounds, or temporary coverage needs preferred.
  • Prior experience training, coaching, or supporting frontline employees preferred.
  • Prior Dragonfly Health experience or equivalent DME/home medical equipment operations experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to assigned Dragonfly Health locations or network partner locations to provide hands-on operational support during acquisitions, integrations, site transitions, leadership gaps, staffing shortages, or periods of increased operational need.
  • Support daily site operations, including route support, equipment delivery and pickup, warehouse workflow, inventory handling, equipment movement, repair coordination, and general service execution.
  • Function as a flexible operational resource by serving as a driver, lead technician, repair technician, site support specialist, trainer, or temporary operational leader depending on business need.
  • Assist newly acquired or transitioning locations with alignment to Dragonfly Health processes, service expectations, operational workflows, safety standards, and documentation requirements.
  • Identify operational gaps, service risks, workflow breakdowns, staffing constraints, equipment issues, and process inconsistencies that may impact site performance or customer experience.
  • Partner with field leadership and site teams to stabilize operations, improve execution, reinforce standard work, and maintain continuity of service during periods of transition or disruption.
  • Provide coaching, training, and day-to-day support to local site employees on operational processes, route execution, equipment handling, customer service expectations, safety practices, and workflow best practices.
  • Communicate site status, operational barriers, risks, and recommended next steps to field leadership and other appropriate stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety, compliance, service quality, customer experience, and operational reliability while performing work across assigned locations.
  • Support special projects related to acquisition integration, site transitions, process improvement, training, or operational standardization as assigned by leadership.
  • Assist with evaluating site workflows, equipment storage, route processes, inventory practices, or other operational activities to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Provide feedback to leadership regarding recurring field challenges, training needs, process gaps, or opportunities to improve site performance.
  • Support network-wide operational initiatives as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.
