Quick Lube Technician - Hall Mazda
About The Position
Hall Mazda is seeking a motivated Quick Lube Technician interested in career growth. The technician performs light vehicle maintenance and repairs, including oil and filter changes, tire balancing and rotation, and cooling system flushes. The role involves working independently and as part of a team to provide a high level of service and customer satisfaction. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, good customer relations skills, and weekend availability. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and meet the stated driver’s license and driving-record requirements. Requirements
- Must have a valid, clean driver’s license with no more than two moving violations in the last three years and no major violations, such as DUI or reckless driving, in the last three years.
- Candidates under 21 may have no more than one moving violation in the last three years and no major violations.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good customer relations skills.
- Must be able to work weekends.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of experience as a technician’s helper or apprentice in an automobile dealership or independent shop is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Inject grease into units such as springs, universal joints, and steering knuckles using a hand or compressed-air-powered grease gun.
- Inspect fluid levels of steering gear, power steering reservoir, transmission, differential, rear axle housings, and shackles.
- Check tire air pressure.
- Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants.
- Drain crankcase oil and refill with the required amount of oil.
- Replace oil and air filters.
- Inspect vehicles for additional repairs needed.
- Perform light maintenance and repairs, including tire balancing and rotation and cooling system flushing.
