About The Position
New Way Ford Pocahontas is seeking a motivated and dependable Quick Lube Technician to join our service department. This entry-level position is perfect for someone passionate about cars and eager to start or grow a career in automotive service. You’ll perform basic maintenance and inspections to keep our customers’ vehicles running smoothly while receiving ongoing training and support to advance your skills.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Willingness to learn and participate in manufacturer training
- Positive attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in basic vehicle maintenance preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and basic maintenance services efficiently and accurately
- Check and top off fluids, replace filters, and inspect belts, hoses, and batteries
- Conduct multi-point inspections and report findings to Service Advisors
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
- Follow dealership and manufacturer maintenance standards and procedures
- Assist technicians with vehicle movement and light shop support as needed
- Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and other team members
