About The Position

Fugate Ford in Enumclaw, WA is seeking a motivated Automotive Lube Technician to join our service department. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Working knowledge of standard vehicle systems and upkeep procedures
Hands-on experience with basic shop tools and equipment
Detail-oriented with solid time management in a high-volume environment
Strong communicator who collaborates well with coworkers and engages customers professionally
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active throughout a full shift
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

Nice To Haves

Background in lube services or general automotive maintenance preferred

Responsibilities

Carry out essential maintenance services such as oil and filter changes and tire rotations
Check and replenish vehicle fluids including engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, and transmission fluid
Assess belts, hoses, tires, and other components for signs of wear, damage, or needed attention
Conduct detailed multi-point inspections and log all findings with accuracy
Communicate service recommendations and additional repair needs to advisors promptly
Keep thorough, clear records of every service completed
Coordinate with the service team to maintain an efficient, on-time service lane
Adhere to all safety guidelines and keep your work area clean and orderly
Pursue ongoing development in automotive maintenance techniques and procedures
