About The Position

Customers are greeted in the lane where the service write-up process begins. The advisor will perform a walk around inspection of the vehicle with the customer, and capture the VIN and current odometer. Write-ups are completed in advisors office. A Repair Order is generated based on information given by the customer and obtained from the vehicle. The customer is contacted with an estimate of repairs or information on repairs if it is a warranty claim. The Quick Lane Service Advisor will keep customer updated throughout the repair process. Repairs will be closed out as well as discussing the delivery process with the customer.

Requirements

  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Must be able to complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Basic computer skills
  • Able to perform simple arithmetic
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Be Insurable through Jenkins & Wynne, Inc. underwriter

Responsibilities

  • Perform a walk around inspection of the vehicle with the customer.
  • Capture the VIN and current odometer.
  • Generate a Repair Order based on customer information and vehicle details.
  • Contact the customer with an estimate of repairs or information on warranty claims.
  • Keep the customer updated throughout the repair process.
  • Close out repairs and discuss the delivery process with the customer.
  • Write and explain detailed estimates and invoices.
