About The Position

The Quartz Fabricator/Machine Operator is responsible for fabricating and assembling quartz components from provided drawings and specifications while maintaining high-quality standards in all fabrication processes. The Quartz Fabricator/Machine Operator must operate CNC equipment, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments, and work safely and effectively as part of the shop team.

Requirements

Ability to follow instructions accurately with strong attention to detail.
Ability to communicate and work effectively with the shop team.
Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.
Ability to wear required PPE at all times.
Ability to follow silica dust safety procedures, including wet cutting methods and respirator use.
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds independently.
Ability to stand for extended periods in a shop environment with noise and dust.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC machines, including loading tooling into machines.
Fabricate components based on provided drawings and specifications.
Assemble parts in accordance with provided drawings.
Ensure all work adheres to relevant codes and standards.
Operate hand tools and precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers.
Rig materials and components safely for transport within the facility.
Maintain forklift certification and operate forklifts to move materials as needed.
Follow instructions accurately with strong attention to detail.
Communicate and work effectively with the shop team.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
Wear required PPE at all times.
Follow silica dust safety procedures, including wet cutting methods and respirator use.
Lift at least 50 pounds independently.
Stand for extended periods in a shop environment with noise and dust.
