About The Position

The Quarry Repairman is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing equipment, machinery, and systems within the quarry. This role involves operating heavy equipment, keeping detailed records of maintenance and repairs, monitoring and adjusting production processes, and performing routine maintenance on machinery. The individual will also be responsible for troubleshooting issues, communicating with team members, interpreting technical manuals and blueprints, diagnosing and fixing mechanical problems efficiently, and maintaining quarry organization.

Requirements

• Experienced fixed plant mechanic, certified welder, understands crushing/screening/power transmission.
• 2+ years’ experience in a Rock Quarry Plant preferred.
• Must be able to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Attention to detail.
• The ability to work well in a team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols

Nice To Haves

• Previous MSHA training is a plus.
