About The Position

This position will travel from plant to plant across the High and Low Desert, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing equipment, machinery, or systems. The role involves heavy equipment operation, keeping detailed records of maintenance and repairs, monitoring and adjusting production processes, performing routine maintenance on machinery, troubleshooting issues as they arise, and communicating with other team members to ensure a smooth workflow. The Quarry Repairman must be able to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints, diagnose and fix mechanical problems quickly and efficiently, and maintain quarry organization.

Requirements

• Experienced fixed plant mechanic, certified welder, understands crushing/screening/power transmission.
• 2+ years’ experience in a Rock Quarry Plant preferred.
• Must be able to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Attention to detail.
• The ability to work well in a team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols.

Nice To Haves

• Previous MSHA training is a plus.
