About The Position

RiverStone Group, Inc. is hiring a Quarry Maintenance Worker for its Allied plant in Milan, Illinois. This is a second-shift position with a current daily start time of 3:30 p.m. The schedule is five to six days per week, depending on the season. Candidates must be dependable and available to work overtime as needed. The role supports quarry operations, operates and maintains heavy machinery, and repairs quarry equipment. It includes welding, repair, and fabrication work on rock-crushing equipment. Employees must follow company policies and governmental regulations and be able to perform heavy lifting and rigorous physical activity in all weather conditions. The starting wage is $34 per hour; the specific rate depends on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience. Pre-employment drug screening, a physical, and background checks are required. Random drug screens continue throughout employment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Focus on safety and a strong work ethic.
Experience operating and maintaining heavy equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and rigorous physical activity in all weather conditions.
Dependable and available to work overtime as needed.
