About The Position

The Multi-Asset Solutions (MAS) group within AWM designs and develops comprehensive investment management solutions using state-of-the-art techniques and proprietary research. MAS collaborates with investment professionals worldwide to create customized solutions for clients, reflecting their specific investment objectives.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or PhD in a quantitative discipline.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in quantitative finance, investment research, asset allocation, portfolio construction, risk modeling, or systematic investing.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Ability to create innovative solutions to commercial challenges.
- Programming expertise, with the ability to transform concepts and ideas into scalable and robust software.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- Intellectual curiosity, self-motivation, and commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Development of quantitative methods in asset allocation and tail risk management processes.
- Devise creative solutions driven by novel analytical methods to advance the investment process.
- Focus on quantitative methods in portfolio construction, tail risk management, and hedging.
- Integrate fundamental considerations with quantitative methods.
- Communicate financial, business, and mathematical concepts clearly and concisely for daily interactions with MAS team members.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers, strategists, risk managers, technologists, and senior leaders.
- Develop research, evaluate portfolio trade-offs, and support client asset allocation decisions.
