About The Position

The Quantitative Modeling Analyst II will support Fraud Risk Management by developing and maintaining fraud-classification models for new product launches, beginning with wire transactions and expanding to ACH and other transaction types. The analyst will work with fraud, data, and technology partners to build, train, maintain, and tune classification models in DataVisor, and help develop additional models in-house as fraud detection expands. A separate team prepares the data; this role evaluates that data through statistical testing, identifies important model features, reviews model results, and adjusts models to improve performance. The position uses SQL and Python or R to analyze data, assess feature importance, and build and monitor models. It is suited to someone interested in taking direct ownership of models. The team is collaborative and forward-thinking, emphasizing curiosity, careful problem-solving, shared accountability, and continued learning about both the technical work and the business behind the models. The role is based in an office and involves occasional travel.
