As a Senior Validator within PNC's Model Risk Management organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA / Tysons Corner, VA or New York City. We are seeking a Senior Validator to join PNC’s Model Risk Management team within Independent Risk Management. As a Senior Validator, you will conduct rigorous, independent reviews of PNC’s key Asset–Liability Management (ALM) and Treasury models, including models used to manage interest rate risk in the banking book (IRRBB) (e.g., non‑maturing deposit (NMD) run-off and pricing behavior) and liquidity risk. Models supporting CCAR processes are also in scope. While ALM and Treasury models are the primary focus of the role, you may also support the Capital Markets model domain as needed, including Value at Risk (VaR) models, interest rate and derivative pricing models, and counterparty credit risk measurement models such as Potential Future Exposure (PFE) and Credit Valuation Adjustment (CVA). Independently performs the most complex quantitative analyses and models development to support decision-making by running quantitative strategies. Develops new model frameworks by supporting the line of business. Refines, monitors, and validates existing models. Conducts on-going communication with model owners and model developers during the course of the review. Works with large data to create models. Performs the most complex qualitative and quantitative assessments on all aspects of models including theoretical aspects, model design and implementation as well as data quality and integrity. Reviews reports and associated quantitative analysis. Validates existing models and assesses model risks. Evaluates identified model risks and reaches conclusions on strengths and limitations of the model. Prepares and analyzes detailed documents for validation and regulatory compliance, using applicable templates.
