About The Position

This role is responsible for supporting the management of our Research Suite of products by partnering with key stakeholders on the Central Research Team. The position involves designing, maintaining, and enhancing scalable data pipelines and cloud-based infrastructure for research and production workflows, ensuring reliable access to high-quality financial data and analytics. A key aspect of the role is proactively decomposing portfolio performance and positioning into factor exposures for risk management and portfolio construction. Additionally, the Quantitative Analyst will design, evaluate, and implement alpha models to refine stock selection and portfolio construction methodologies, and support recurring analyses, documentation, quality-control processes, and project coordination to reduce operational friction. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to build credibility, influence outcomes, and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders in a professional environment.
  • Advanced programming and data engineering capabilities, with demonstrated experience architecting scalable cloud-based research platforms, data pipelines, and analytical solutions that support both exploratory research and production investment processes.
  • Experience working with institutional investment data platforms and point-in-time financial datasets, including Bloomberg, FactSet, S&P Capital IQ/Compustat, or comparable research and market data sources.
  • Demonstrated interest in fundamental investing, including financial statement analysis, valuation, and the application of data-driven insights to investment decision-making.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree in Financial Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, or a related discipline preferred.
  • CFA Charterholder, CFA candidate, or demonstrated interest in fundamental security analysis preferred.
  • Exceptional qualitative skills.
  • Ability to explain complex statistical concepts to fundamental investors and a desire for continued partnership to investigate business drivers.

Responsibilities
