About The Position

Bonnell is looking for a quality technician. This person will be responsible for conducting testing procedures during manufacturing processes to ensure that products comply with quality standards. The individual should have the ability to work with plant engineers as part of a team to ensure that the solutions are fully documented and manage the approval process. Our QA staff is small but critical to our success. Bonnell is an established and well-respected company with clients across North America. We are in search of a person with skills in documenting, implementation, auditing, and control of the Quality Management System.

Requirements

  • Computer knowledge should include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a high paced collaborative environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize work from multiple projects.
  • Maintain a positive work ethic and collaborative work environment.
  • Good analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to use tools and techniques to perform tests.
  • Ability to read technical data and specifications.

  • Attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills, including ability to conduct quality control checks without error.
  • Experience in information technology, information systems, and/or communication systems development, integration, and operation.
  • Working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Windows operating system. (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to multitask essential.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability.
  • HS Diploma/GED
  • Must pass a basic math skill test.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work efficiently and effectively, self-motivated, self-starter.
  • Must pass company background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Inspection and testing of incoming materials as part of the release process. This requires hands-on work in a laboratory setting.
  • Interfacing with internal clients such as production management, process engineering, and manufacturing leadership to identify incoming materials requiring release.
  • Support ISO 9001 and TS16949 as well as other regulatory, agency and notified body internal and external Audits.
  • Support quality improvement efforts in designated areas with a goal of improving "zero defects" performance.
  • Work with manufacturing team to implement related root cause analysis and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Track and measure critical processes within the plant.
  • Assist in the investigation and disposition of non-conforming material.
