About The Position

Triple Cities Metal Finishing is looking for a Quality & Testing Associate to join our Quality team. This is an entry-level, hands-on position with opportunities to learn and grow within our Quality department. The Quality & Testing Associate will inspect finished parts after plating, identify potential defects, assist with quality testing, and manage our salt spray testing process.

Nice To Haves

Previous quality, manufacturing, metal finishing, or blueprint reading experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Inspect and sort finished parts for defects or quality concerns.
Identify and separate questionable or defective parts and notify the Quality team.
Perform and document salt spray testing to evaluate the corrosion resistance of plated finishes.
Test and monitor the salt spray solution and operate the salt spray chamber.
Enter testing results and other quality information into our computer system.
Maintain accurate testing and inspection records.
Communicate quality concerns to the Quality and Production teams.
Follow established testing, quality, and safety procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Assist with other quality-related tasks as needed.
Training will be provided on the salt spray equipment, testing procedures, and quality processes.
