About The Position

MM is a global leader in consumer packaging, providing packaging solutions for cartonboard and folding cartons with an attractive offer in kraft papers, uncoated fine papers, leaflets and labels. To strengthen our team in Greensboro, NC, we are looking for experienced and dedicated Quality Inspectors.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year experience as a Quality Inspector or 2 year's experience in a related position.
Basic computer proficiency (i.e. Microsoft Office, Excel, Powerpoint).
Detail-oriented, quality and safety focused.
Strong verbal, written, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to communicate in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Examine product to customer requirements/specifications in relation to visual appearance and converting structural functions.
Verify product quality and signs off on beginning production runs.
Conduct product line sampling according to plan.
Demonstrate clear understanding of quality procedures and safety awareness.
Communicate findings and generates reports upon request.
Review non-conforming material to meet customer specifications.
Input information into batch records to reflect document defects.
Perform random sampling based on company and/or customer requirements.
Complete customer request for press sheets and/or samples to be included and/or mailed ahead of shipment.
Write and/or review standard operating procedures and work instructions as required.
