About The Position

To inspect and approve all vendor yarn and in-process yarn, as well as inspect and approve all manufacturing processes as needed in the yarn plant. Inspect and approve all vendor yarns. Inspect and approve all yarns processed at the Yarn and Dye Plant. Maintain up-to-date files on all yarns and colors. Maintain standards on all new colors, including vendor yarns. Check with Product development to obtain standards from their markup. Make twist checks on all processes. Inspect air entanglement operation as needed. Set up orders as required. Other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager or QC.

Requirements

  • Must be familiar with Yarn and Dye plant operations.
  • Must be able to use SAP/computer system.
  • Must be willing to cross-train between plants.
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to recognize and distinguish colors and shades.
  • Must be able to maintain files.
  • Must be willing to work in a demanding environment with frequent priority changes.
  • Must have a High School diploma or GED equivalent.
