About The Position

The Quality Technician I/II/III facilitates the parts quality process throughout the organization. In partnership with internal business units, the role ensures the precision and inspection of parts moving into the facility. It supports Quality Management Systems and drives data collection, reporting, and analysis. The technician partners with leaders in the daily operation of an area and is responsible for improving quality systems, processes, and performance.

The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The listed pay rate for Quality Technician I is $20.60 per hour, plus a $2.50 shift premium.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

Responsibilities

• Conduct process and product audits to ensure team members follow standardized operating procedures and adhere to quality standards.
• Implement resolutions to basic and moderately complex problems.
• Select methods and techniques to develop solutions using judgment within established procedures and practices.
• Implement process improvements to continuously improve quality.
• Cross-train in multiple departments or stations and flex to similar departments based on business necessity.
• Assist with NPI/ECN changes and perform other duties assigned by the Quality Supervisor or Manager.
• Suggest and implement improvements to equipment, designs, and processes to improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
• Resolve problems with assistance from peers or supervisors, depending on level and complexity.
