About The Position

The Quality Technician I/II/III facilitates the parts quality process throughout the organization. In partnership with internal business units, the role ensures precision and inspection of parts moving into the facility and supports Quality Management Systems through data collection, reporting, and analysis. The technician partners with leaders in the daily operation of an area to improve quality systems, processes, and performance.

The listed opening is Quality Technician I on the second shift, Monday through Friday, from 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The pay rate is $20.60 per hour plus a $2.50 shift premium.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

Responsibilities

• Conduct process and product audits to ensure team members follow standardized operating procedures and quality standards.
• Implement resolutions to basic through moderately complex problems.
• Use judgment within established procedures and practices to select methods and techniques for finding solutions.
• Implement process improvements to continuously improve quality.
• Cross-train in multiple departments or stations and flex to similar departments based on business necessity.
• Assist with NPI/ECN changes and perform other duties assigned by the Quality Supervisor or Manager.
• Suggest and implement improvements to existing equipment, designs, and processes to improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
• Resolve problems with assistance from peers or supervisors depending on their level and complexity.
