As a Quality Technician at Caterpillar Inc. you will perform quality control and/or technical support for all functional departments.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and/or electronic schematics diagrams
• Working knowledge of SAP ECC and SAPME software
• Working knowledge of HVC/PQWB and EPIX applications
• Working knowledge of inspection tools including, micrometers and various gages
• Strong customer focus
• Working knowledge Microsoft office360 and SharePoint

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in quality control or manufacturing
• Previous Leadership experience
• Degree or taking classes towards degree
• Microsoft office and computer skills

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control on receiving, shipping, storage, processing, renovation, inspection equipment maintenance, communication, packaging and returns
• Ensure customer standards are maintained
• Lead inspection staff and assist in training incoming quality personnel
• Use specialized equipment including: hoists, saws, grinders, material handling vehicles, and chemical solutions
